Seek urgent eye care for severe pain, rapidly worsening vision, marked redness, significant light sensitivity, nausea, vomiting, a cloudy cornea, new flashes or floaters, or a curtain-like shadow across the vision.

Long-term examinations remain important because the ICL, eye pressure, corneal endothelial cells, natural lens, retina and optic nerve must continue to be monitored even when vision is excellent.
